The C4 HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) Programmer Module is a component in the fourth generation of the Chevrolet Corvette (C4), a sports car produced between 1984 and 1996. The C4 HVAC Programmer Module controls the operation of the car's heating and air conditioning system. It is responsible for maintaining the desired temperature and regulating air flow to the cabin. The C4 HVAC Programmer Module also contains diagnostic features that can help identify problems with the heating and air conditioning system. For example, it can display error codes that can help a mechanic pinpoint the root cause of a malfunction. Overall, the C4 HVAC Programmer Module plays a critical role in maintaining the car's occupants' comfort and safety by regulating the cabin's temperature and air flow. How does the HVAC Programmer Module break? The HVAC programmer module houses vacuum control solenoids and the blend door motor controller. Vibration can cause the solder joints to break down, while excessive heat can cause the electrolytic capacitors to fail. This rebuilding service will fix the common symptoms listed below:

• • Switching between air selections is not working correctly.
  • Cold air blows from the vents when heat is selected, or hot air blows when A/C is selected.
