A Rear Lower Control Arm on a 2014 to 2019 Corvette, which covers the C7 generation of the Chevrolet Corvette, is a critical suspension component that connects the rear wheel hub assembly to the vehicle's frame or subframe. The primary function of the rear lower control arm is to maintain the proper alignment of the rear wheel while also allowing for vertical movement in response to road irregularities.

The rear lower control arm works in conjunction with other suspension components, such as the upper control arm, trailing arms, and various bushings and links, to ensure the vehicle maintains proper wheel alignment, handling, and ride quality. These components work together to manage the forces acting on the wheels during acceleration, braking, and cornering.

Over time, the rear lower control arm's bushings or other components may wear out or become damaged, which can lead to issues with the vehicle's handling and alignment. If you are experiencing handling or alignment issues on your 2014 to 2019 Corvette, it's essential to inspect the rear lower control arms and other suspension components and replace them as needed to maintain optimal performance and safety.
