This part is a good, used C6 Transmission Mount.

Body and trim: Base, Grand Sport, Z06, ZR1

The C6 transmission mount on a 2005 to 2013 Chevrolet Corvette is a crucial component designed to secure and support the transmission within the vehicle. It is responsible for isolating vibrations and reducing noise generated by the transmission during operation, providing a more comfortable and smooth driving experience.

Typically made of rubber or polyurethane material, the transmission mount is designed to absorb vibrations while maintaining the structural integrity of the transmission assembly. It connects the transmission to the vehicle's chassis or frame, ensuring that the transmission remains in its proper position and alignment.

Over time, the transmission mount can wear out or become damaged, leading to increased vibrations, misalignment, or excessive movement of the transmission. Symptoms of a worn or damaged transmission mount include unusual noises, harsh or jerky gear shifts, or even visible sagging of the transmission.

If you suspect a problem with your Corvette's C6 transmission mount, it is essential to have it inspected and replaced if necessary by a professional to avoid further damage to the transmission or drivetrain components, and to maintain the proper functioning and driving comfort of your vehicle.
