What is the difference between the First Design and Second Design Steering Rack & Pinion?
The first design routes the gear wiring harness along the bottom of the gear. This rack-and-pinion setup was installed in 1997 to Early 1998 Corvette models. The second design routes the gear wiring harness along the top of the gear. This setup was installed in Corvette models from late 1998 to 2004.
