C4 Used Front Upper Control Arm 1984-1996

NOTE: The condition of the bushings, ball joint and boot cannot be guaranteed on used control arms.

A Front Upper Control Arm on a 1984 to 1996 Corvette is a critical suspension component that connects the front wheel's steering knuckle to the vehicle's chassis. The 1984 to 1996 Corvette models are part of the C4 generation, which features an independent suspension system for better handling and ride quality.

The front upper control arm is an essential part of the suspension system, as it helps maintain proper wheel alignment, stability, and control while driving. It is typically made of strong, durable materials such as steel or aluminum and consists of a pivoting arm with bushings on one end and a ball joint on the other. The bushings connect the control arm to the vehicle's chassis, while the ball joint connects it to the steering knuckle, allowing for smooth articulation and movement as the suspension responds to road conditions and steering inputs.

Over time, the front upper control arm's bushings or ball joint may wear out or fail, causing a range of issues including poor handling, uneven tire wear, and even potential loss of control. Replacing a worn-out front upper control arm is essential to maintaining your Corvette's performance and safety.
