This part is a good, used C4 Brake Master Cylinder Pressure Warning Switch, which can be installed on any of the following Corvette models:

This component mounts directly to the brake master cylinder (3/8"-24 thread) and functions as a safety feature by activating the dashboard "BRAKE" lamp if a pressure difference is detected between the front and rear brake systems.
An internal sliding cylinder shifts in response to the pressure imbalance, pressing a pin on the switch to close the lamp circuit.
NOTE: If fluid is leaking from the switch, this indicates a failure in the master cylinder. There should be no fluid in that part of the cylinder.
