Body and trim: Base, Indianapolis 500 Pace Car, ZR-1, 40th Anniversary Edition

Experience a new level of driving enjoyment with our 1989-1995 C4 Corvette Skip Shift Eliminator for the Computer Aided Gear Selection System (CAGS). If you own a late-model Corvette with a manual transmission (produced in 1989 or later), you've no doubt been frustrated by the annoying "skip-shift" feature that forces first-to-fourth shifting in low-speed, part throttle conditions — supposedly to help boost fuel economy. You didn't buy a Corvette because of its fuel economy, did you?

The Skip Shift Eliminator puts you back in control of your car. This little gem plugs into your Corvette's CAGS solenoid and eliminates the forced 1st to 4th shift, providing a nice crisp shift into second gear. No more unexpected, jarring shifts, just smooth, regular shifts — the kind driving a Corvette is supposed to be about. If you aren't sure how the CAGS system works, the transmission in your car utilizes a solenoid that controls the shifting of gears under certain situations — the Skip Shift Eliminator completely bypasses this feature, enabling you to shift gears normally.

Installation is a breeze and takes under 30 minutes with the included instruction manual. The harness is sealed from the weather with specially designed rubber boots for the plugs, so you won't have to worry about dirt getting in and causing any damage. Designed specifically for the 1989-1995 6-speed Corvettes, this Skip Shift Eliminator is your passport to a cleaner, more enjoyable ride. Take control of your Corvette and reap the rewards of everyday driving!
