If you have recently purchased a used body control module and tried to program it to your Corvette, the chances are that you are having problems with the option configuration and vats key that was programmed into memory on the used module. This reprogramming service offered by Corvette Salvage can reflash and wipe the memory of a 1997 to 2004 C5 Body Control Module to make it like new again. This service comes complete with programming instructions to pair the module to a Corvette using the existing vats key. It will also accept current RPO codes and sync with the rest of the onboard computers.
What is a Body Control Module?
The body control module or ‘body computer’ is a generic term for an electronic control unit. It is responsible for monitoring and controlling various electronic accessories in a vehicle, such as power windows, power mirrors, air conditioning, central locking, etc.
NOTE 1: This service does not alter the mileage on the vehicle. Original mileage will stay intact.
